I finally got my check engine light off on my car, but have some bald tires and I'm broke. Do they check your tired during inspection? Anyone know where they would overlook the tires?

If you are really hard up then get some used tires. I doubt anyone is going to pass a car with BALD tires.

A shop that doesn't care if you have a blow-out and die.

i had threads showin on my celica one year. they told me to get them replaced then get re inspected..

it was fun drifting into other lanes while drivin' in the rain

if ur really hard up. get a buddy with the same bolt pattern.... and ask to borrow his rims for an hour haha it's been done

goddamn people can be gay... if you're not showing cords nothings probably going to blow....
this doesn't mean its safe but...

i think that west german place did my jeep when my tires were abnormally low on tread.

low on tread and no tread are diffrent things. bitch can be bald as shit the whole way arond the tire on hte inside out out. as long as it has 2/32 on the rest of the tire youre good to go. has to be less than 2/32 in 2 different tread grooves to fail

even if you weren't concerned with them blowing, ice might be a problem in a couple months

biggest thing is if it get inspected and a tire blows 2 weeks later, that shop is gonna be liable, so no, no one is going to inspect it
