I have been listening to "Mike and Mike" for the past year or so every morning on my drive to work, but this week, the station is nothing but dead air.

Not bad reception, but dead air.

Did something happen to our local provider of ESPN Radio?

Triangle Sports Talk got bought out by an ESPN affiliate. The company wasn't making any money so they had to shut down after the Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup. ESPN Radio is also on 620 the Bull if you need to get your fix, but it's in the later hours. Sorry man.

Well, I'm just trying to tell you what went down. Sorry that you can't get Mike and Mike on radio. I tried to do the same thing months ago, but I could never get a great signal. Maybe it's because of my car antenna.

Yeah, Sirius has ESPN Radio, so Mike & Mike comes in crystal clear

here in WV our 1490AM affiliate still works, though

It's the same station. However, he could give it a shot.

I know 1490 AM is the ESPN affiliate in Rocky Mount, but everytime I go home, I can barely pick up the signal, even in front of the damn radio station where it is broadcast from.

True story.

well what is worse is when they took off "The Morning Sports Drive" and replaced it with Mike and Mike after the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup. That really pissed me off. By far the best sports show I'd ever listened to. But I agree I like sports radio in the morning and managed to listen to Mike and Mike and now nothing. Radio around here sucks balls!

1490 had christmas music one morning or last night or something. I need to remove it from my AM station lineup. I'll give 620 a try I suppose. I hate bouncing around shows!
