Maybe lost? This gray and white female cat has been whining outside our door for 2 nights. If this is your cat or perhaps you want a cat, let me know, cause it is really annoying and I want it to go away. It is clean and healthy looking but has no collar.

Call the SPCA. The cat may be microchipped or tattoed if it belongs to somebody. GC had a HUGE problem with stray cats when I lived there last year, that may be the case also.

I live in gorman crossings and the people that live at the end of Kings Ct down there had a litter of kittens with one of their cats earlier this year but always let them run around outside. The cat you're talking about is from that litter and I've already complained to the mgmt that they shouldn't be allowed to let their cats run around outside. I'm not allowed to let my dog stay outside day and night by herself, so the cats shouldn't be able to either. I've woken up in the mornings last semester to this gray and white cat sitting on the hood of my car and cat prints all over it! grr. I love kitties, but damn people take care of your pets. I sure hope she's not pregnant again.

ps- if you want, i'll help you catch her and we can take her to the SPCA or i'll keep her till we can find someone who wants her in my apt.

edit: the reason I complained to mgmt was because someone ran over one of the kittens and threw its body in the grassy area down there, then the stupid lawn maintenance people managed to run it over with a mower or something and shredded it, spewing it everywhere. I had half a mind to rake it up and go dump it on those ppl's porch w/ a note bitching about how you should take better care of your animals. *end rant*

Quite possibly the most fucked up thing I've heard all day.

I'm going to see if she comes back tomorrow night, if so I will probably call the SPCA. She is really sweet and I would hate to see her get hurt. We already have a cat and can't really afford to spay/declaw/shots/flea-treat another one, or I would keep her, just because she is so sweet. I live over in that area behind the office.

i moved outta Gorman Crossings in May of this year, and there was this cute little gray cat that would always come up to my sliding glass door, but I'm pretty sure it was just an outside "community cat" if you will, because I know for a fact that a couple people fed it.

It was the only cat that would come up to me. all the other ones were wild and wouldn't come near me unless I had food. Anyways, the one you describe sounds like this one

Does she have her left ear tip snipped off, and have long/medium hair? If so I know her.

she looks like she is less than a year old, just judging by her size (although I wouldn't know, our cat is a big fatty, so i don't know what a regular cat is supposed to be like) and has short hair. i didn't notice anything wrong with her ears. I wouldn't mind her if she would quit meowing at my front door all night long. She rubbed all over my legs and let me pick her up and rub her so I would assume people have played with her before.

when i lived at GC there were about a dozen neighborhood cats that no one claimed. some were so friendly they'd walk into your apt. I used to leave food out for them just like everybody else.
I caught 1 adult and 3 kittens while there that i was able to rehome. but the kittens were so feral. took a month to socialize them enough to adopt out.

i don't think management cares. at least they didnt when i lived there. a lot of the older units had rat/mice problems so i think the management didn't want to do anything about the cats for that reason (rodent control).
