I've had friends make lots of money during the Christmas season through odd jobs, working at a Christmas tree farm, etc. Do any of you have any ideas or know of anybody in Charlotte that hires for holiday jobs? 12/4/2006 11:14:15 AM |

Charlotte is huge... Most any place that is retail will hire seasonal temps. Christmas tree farm jobs would probably be pretty easy to get too. If you're in Charlotte already, go out looking, just ask till you find something. If you have to wait till after exams, its gonna be much harder cause we don't get out till the 19th and by then most places will have already hired their temps. 12/4/2006 2:24:25 PM |

Parking Solutions is always looking for valets and if you get the right places you can make bank on tips. You have to work on New Years though and sometimes it's hard to cut out before midnight so that kinda sucks. All in all it's not too bad tho. 12/4/2006 2:29:10 PM |

You looking for an official paycheck or something under the table?
And yes, seasonal help is everywhere. My guess is if you offer to do stocking of some sort, they will hire you quickly. When you ask around, make sure they are OK with a one month or less commitment. (And um, if you do go this route, keep in mind first paychecks are delayed like crazy usually). 12/4/2006 3:11:39 PM |
