^^ Fox has a habit of cancelling shows, but since they also have a bad habit of picking up bad shows, thats why they have a low turnover rate. Firefly falls into the same category as Greg the Bunny, Quintuplets, and all those other shit shows FOX thinks will be break out hits and barely last a season because a grand total of five people watch them weekly.

Firefly was a good show. It's certainly overrated by the nerd set, but it's better than fox gav eit credity for. They've cancelled plenty better, too.

personally, I diddn't have a big problem with it. But nationally, it evidently wasn't appealing to a vast audience.

Speaking as a person who likes to keep his nerdiness under his hat for the most part, I will say that the show was pretty great. Not life-changing, as some people would have you believe, but it was very fun to watch. The characters were very endearing. THe movie wasn't all that great, but I enjoyed the show quite a bit.

Uh the show got a shitload of viewers. They cancelled it because it didn't fit in their "lineup". Ya know... WWF... WWE whatever the fuck it's called.

Firefly was a damn good show with a lot of backstory which didn't bore you to death with dialog. It was real and funny. The movie kinda crapped on the series but I liked it. It was very star wars like.

too many MMO's as it is. this will capture the hardcore fans for a bit, but my guess is that:

1) hardcore MMO and firefly fans will eventually draw right back out to WOW or the like
2) regular fans wont be able to handle the MMO aspects for long enough

so it might do alright, but they might as well have just made a regular game.
