I took my friend's CV axle nut off with a 450 lb/ft gun cranked all the way up... and just barely. Don't try and buy an electric one for something like this.

i take these off everyday without a gun.

get a breaker bar.

and a lifetime warrantee thick flathead screwdriver.

stick the screwdriver in the caliper slot where the rotor is, it will hold it.

then be a man and pop it loose

We just popped the center cap off the wheels, and used a breaker bar with the car on the ground.

Of course it's not the best one out there, but most of the really low end ones seem to only be rated at 300 or less. This was a 1/2" drive too.

the handle from my floor jack and a good breaker bar work great for me. If it can't be accessed with the tires on, just prop a god pry bar between two studs and the ground and it works great.

breaker bar+extension if needed to get to the ground+drive car forward or backwards.

you pussies and your impact guns, if i stand on a 3ft breaker bar, and i weigh 270#, that means my ass develops 810 ft-lbs of torque, add some bouncing and that can easily soar to over 1200

Nigger please. We roll with 3/4" drive around here.

1/2" breaker bars are for people what have a 'giner a'twixt their legs...
