i would have to disagree. the series did get better as it progressed, but i woudn't say the first few seasons were bad. they did great things with the characters in the first year or two. there were a few bad episodes scattered throughout DS9 though... the worst of which were the one on Risa... and the one where Quark had to dress as a woman.

DS9 was good. I never saw the last few seasons, but I liked it.

TNG was great, but, yeah, the first season was terrible.

first season had only a few female highlights, bra-less uniforms and some minor stripping, but other than that they did indeed suck ass... (first season) (never was a fan of pulaski either)

-The Simpsons Pilot(the whole first season really, after I got the box set I saw how shitty that whole season was)
-Seinfeld Pilot (didnt even have Elaine)
-ATHF Pilot (I was like "WTF" when I first saw it, if you count the SGCCC episode as their pilot that was even worse)
-Full House Pilot (again, another show with awful first few seasons)
-Family Matters Pilot (same)
