My roommate decided to adopt a family for Christmas and we had the promises of a few large groups of people who were going to help with this task before we took it on...Now we have committed and those groups have since fallen through. She is scrambling to figure out how to afford the rest of the items the family desperately needs for Christmas.
Here is a website she made with more info: http://www.freewebs.com/christmaswishnc/
If you'd like to help or know a company who might be interested, please send me a pm! You can donate straight to paypal on the website and we can provide receipts for what the money was used for.
Any help is appreciated! 12/14/2006 9:02:35 PM |

umm, can you please tell me how this family qualified? Seriously. :| I need to know. I don't understand ... they're apparently doing better than some people I know. And giving a 16YO a shotgun doesn't seem very smart.
In other news does stuff have to be NEW? I have a lot of stuff in good condition that I can part with, but it's going to obviously be used stuff.

I mean, I asked the same question........but the country station WQDR or whatever is the one who set us up with this family. We bought a pallet of dog food for $450 so that should last them a long time.
And no, stuff does not have to be new. They seem like a genuine family who has fallen on hard times. Thanks for the bttt though 12/14/2006 10:43:39 PM |
