could a rear-end collision fuck up the alignment of the car?
basically i rearended someone going like 20-30, my bumper, hood, radiator (minor damage) were damaged. the car was pulling to the right before the accident but i went and told the appraiser that the alignment was fucked up b/c of the accident. you think this is legit? could this kind of collision cause the alignment to be thrown off?

it's possible that it fucked up the alignment. probably more likely to have bent the chassis or a suspension member... Happened on one of my dads old bmws. the damage looked minor, but it ended up bending a frame rail and totaling the car. that was a front left collision rather than rearending though. either way, get the chassis/frame rails checked and look real closely at all the front suspension.

^agreed... I've seen tons of horrible alignments from wrecked cars at work. Almost all body shops take the cars to be aligned after they fix the damage, unless it was very minor.
