So my warranty just ran out on my 3 year old laptop. Lately if the screen even gets touched it goes blank. I can usually get it up again by closing the screen and opening it back up. Sometimes I have to open and close it multiple times before the screen stays lit. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

loose wire(s)?

loose connection between the lcd panel and the videocard
