Aren't we due for another one? Might sound cliche, but I keep waiting for someone to come out that I listen to and say "everyone's gonna copy them for the next 10 years", but I have yet to hear it. Typically this involves going back to the basics (see: late 70s). There's plenty of good music out there, maybe I'm just not hearing the right stuff, or I'm a bad judge of this.

previous revolutions would include the birth of rock and roll itself as well as the late 70s movement that people refer to as "punk rock".

oh yeah, and it has to be something people can dance to.

why yes, this is all centered around my own views of rock.
