Hey, I'm having problems viewing AIM away messages (by hovering) with AIM Triton, 6.0.28.1, anyone having issues?

Well, there's also http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ , what do you all suggest? GAIM has issues where it can't be minimized to the tray...

it would help if you explain what these "issues" are, yes, you hover over peoples AIM names and it pops up a little window with their status, etc.

I've noticed with mine it will occasionally not close that popup window, and it appears to be stuck there with no way to close it.

If you hover back over your buddy list on another name, and move the mouse away, it should close the popup. I can imagine this is a known bug.

Other than that, the new AIM 6 works like a dream for me.

which version of trillian should be used? the new one (3.1) or one of the 0.xx ones?

Honestly, there isnt a chat program out there worth a shit. The only thing that has some promise is Google Talk (not the one built into your browser when you're on Gmail, the separate program). Of course, 99% of people are still on AIM, so that will always remain the protocol of choice

Trillian 3.1 is much better than the 0.x versions.. Can't wait for Trillian Astra (4.0) to come out early next year

Ok so this is a bit different... I'm on 6.0 and all of sudden the size of my profile has diminished like crazy... literally in the past few days. Everytime I open the dialogue to change it, it reads that I've "exceeded the limit"... but there is barely anything in there anymore. Anyone else having the same problem or have a suggestion?

Also, is there anyway to set a default font??? I hate having to change the font every time I put an away up or I IM someone.

Last, I know I've read about this somewhere before... is there anyway I can manipulate the settings or program to let me have more space in my profile?
