Alright, so I´m here in Ecuador, getting done saying chao to friends and the whatnot...I get back to good old casa and I see if I can rewatch Land of the Dead. I did.

MAN, THIS MOVIE SUCKKKKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

I never seen such garbage of a horror movie in my life. I didn´t realize it the first time I watched it on the big screen.

DOES ANYONE UNDERSTAND THE ENDING?


As a side note, Leguizamo´s character´s name of Cholo is actually an Ecuadorian offensive term for a rustic person.

I havent found this on dvd yet. Is it even on it?

I thought it was actually good/funny as hell! especially the part where that one zombie had the grenade and tried to throw it, but he waited to late and blew his own legs off along with some other zombies.

then the other part when the chick thought that the zombie was headless, and she approached him, when she got closer he swung his head over with his spinal chord and bit her,

^^the director/writer pretty much wrote the rules on zombies as we know them. that said, this movie is complete shit.

It´s all bootleg. I´m in Ecuador. I found Casino Royale the other day in a shop.

But of the same quality as a DVD, sometimes with Spanish subtitles.

Oh, and about the cool scenes.

In what might be the funniest scene in the history of film, a soldier (not zombie) pulls the pin on a grenade. A zombie cuts off the dude´s hand. With a look of immense fear, the man falls down on the grenade, his body exploding quite humorously

Also, it was a guy that got bitten by that way. They killed that Spanish dude and somehow he mysterioulsy disappeared in the next cut.

^okay, those were the exact two scenes i was talking about. i thought they were hilarious.I wonder why they diddnt put this out on dvd?!?! I understand they are worried about sales/residuals. But i dont think this would have done so bad. I mean, there are some pretty crappy flicks out on dvd. Matter fact, some go straight to dvd. this would have atleast done alright.

It makes more sense humanity training zombies to be their demise than zombies just growing brains and coming after people in somewhat clever and somewhat humourous way.

I mean, come on people, you think if you had survived for three years from a zombie invasion you could at least practice head shots and prefer semi-automatic to automatic.
