Annuals' keyboard player was the drummer in my old band for a long time. That was in high school, but it's weird to see him in Spin now.

His dad bought him a bunch of gear back then because he always believed that his son would make it; looks like her was right.

Brother was the first single if i remember right but both Bleary Eyed and Brother are short enough for latenight tv.

not their best performance, but it is television.

Television has nothing to do with it. I have seen some absolutely electrifying performances on TV, Hives on Conan and At the Drive-In on Letterman to name two off the top. Definitely surreal about the friends, though.

Yeah, definitely not the song I would have gone with. And the second drumset didn't seem to be adding much to the sound. It seemed like Conan genuinely enjoyed them, though.

the performance didn't surprise me because every time i see them i am bored and dissapointed. but it was still cool to see

i don't think they do 10 minute versions of anything. http://youtube.com/watch?v=7LPwcCmadzo this is pretty much the exact way they played it at their last 506 show.
