Besides the obvious fact that the PS2 is [old] and there are a multitude of newer systems out there, is this game worth having?

My little brother keeps giving me games for the PS2 every x-mas, but I am not sure if I should keep this one or just get something like Resident Evil 4?

Or is there a really good sports game out that I should be looking at? I already have all of the NFL & NBA games.

im not sure about ps2, but ea's nhl 2007 is a lot better than 2k7. its completely different than past EA hockey games, i love it.

I like NHL 2k7 for the 360...not sure how it is for the ps2

That is only for the Xbox 360. The PS2 NHL 07 is basically the same as 06. You are better going with 2k7 on the PS2.

ive played both nhl07 and 2k7...i think 2k7 is better because it plays more realistic. Is also a good challenge unlike nhl07 where i feel like i can score at will. If you like hockey i think 2k7 is a good game.

The only way I would recommend getting 07 is if its for PC, because you can download all sorts of mods and upgrades to make it playable. Otherwise you'll be playing games with scores like 17-9.

I haven't actually played 2k7 myself because I don't have a console, but from what I hear it is a better game, unless you have the 360, in which case 07 is far superior.

LOL, I traded it in for God Of War.

I beat that shit in less than 2 days.

I'll either take it back for Resident Evil 4 or get the hockey game back.
