It's out of season to buy 'em but I'm taking a Water Aerobics course this spring, and I don't think stores like Wal-Mart are carrying them. Does anyone know which sports stores carry them?

i got one at target when in a similar situation (i had to take a make up class, so i sat in on one water aerobics class).

target/walmart wont have a lot of selection, but they will have them (i got mine from target, though i am a guy).

I had this problem a couple months ago. Went on a trip, wanted to get in the hotel pool & jacuzzi, but left my suit at home. Went to Wal-Mart and they had one style and the only sizes were like XXXL. So good luck.

there is a store called everything but water in southpoint

it probably won't be cheap but they def have suits

otherwise target and walmart are you best bet

unless you feel comfortable purchasing something online

and water aerobics is so much fun

Dick's has great suits for stuff like water aerobics, and if you stay away from name brand like speedo, it won't run you more than $40

I had the same problem last spring. Got mine at Dicks in crossroads. I think its near the bed bath and beyond and office max.

edit: it might be sports authority or something like that.... the sports store over there, haha

Labels are putting out their resort lines right now, so it should be easier than you think to find a suit. Dept stores should have a few, and I definitely saw some at Target the other day. The swim store at Southpoint does have a good selection.

wanna know whats even better about this trip? my parents are awesome and bought me the ticket last summer. so all it's costing me is 2.5 days of vacation time.

they've had a timeshare there for the past 4 years or so, and i've never been able to go because of school or work. (actually, i would have been able to go last year because i was unemployed, but the tickets were pretty expensive by then. and i was job hunting.)

i'm super pumped!

this is the suit, and color i got :

oh, i totally didnt see that this was for a swim class

truthfully, i still prefer my swimteam speedos for anything athletic. or maybe a lifeguard (aka sports bra-ish) style two piece.

go to a sporting goods store

Does anyone know how the victoria secret bathingsuits are sized? They have some beautiful ones but I never have purchased one from there. Would a safe guess be the size I wear in their bra's and panties? Any ideas?

^^the tops that use bra sizes have run true to those sizes, as compared to their bras, with the couple that ive bought

ive found that scoop bottoms can run a little big, like i wear a medium in the underwear i buy from them, but a small with the scoop bottoms

I was in Dick's Sporting Goods to buy a chin-up bar and they had a bunch of swimsuits on display.

In response to how VS sizes... they have a really great return policy... if it doesn't fit send it back but call first and tell them the problem so they can make a better recommendation based on the product. Their bathing suits vary considerably in cuts and sizing so just try and go with the sizing chart and return if you have to. I've ordered tons and had to send probably 1/4 back... but they paid return shipping, etc.
