its a good idea if you want to party all the time! and have hot freshman girls just come up to your house on a random night to get fucked up! and if you want your shit stolen or vandalized! and you sure cant study there!

you might not want to tell him about freshman girls showing up at random.

I used to live on Brent Road at 558, near the first street on the right, and I never had a problem. Sometimes on the weekend there would be a lot of traffic on the street, and people walking around, but nothing that was really a problem. It could get a little loud on the weekends, but not that bad. If I recall correctly, the farther you get from Gorman on Brent Road, the less "crazy" it gets. Much calmer towards the end of the street.

Also, because of the bad reputation associated with Brent Road, you can rent a decent place for a good price.

I lived on Brent for a year or so while I was still in school. It wasn't all that bad. Don't remember the address, but seems like it was around 558. Is that the duplex with the stupid steep driveway and the parking underneath?

Its like living anywhere else around campus now I bet, the BR mystique is gone.

I lived at 515 for awhile back in 2003. It wasn't bad. The douchebag across the street always called the cops if we had a party.

my last experience with brend rd was driving away with my last load of furniture and seeing some asian lady and like 5 small kids raiding our recycling bin.

You will get a nuisance party ticket if you laugh outside. It is now reserved for section 8 tenants, students are not welcome.

Well we went to go check out the neighborhood today. Turns out we know the people who live on the other side of the house. Now I'm more worried about us getting into trouble than other people being too loud. I'm wouldn't even be thinking about this place if there wasn't so much space and it was so cheap. Gotta make our decision by mid next week.

Nah, that's not 558, but I think i remember that place. I think it's the first place on the right after the first street, right across the road from 558. BTW, there are several stupid steep driveways on that street.

my friends used to live there, roaches mice, mold, it was fallin apart and i watched a guy get stabbed last year from the side porch

its all low income family housing and is ghetto as fuck, i've had to pull a gun on quite a few crackheads messin with my shit at night, and i know of at least 4 houses that have been broken into since thanksiving, and the crackhouse right across the street from me

[Edited on December 29, 2006 at 9:57 PM. Reason : i'm movin the fuck out after 3 years here]

^^ Talking about that shit with the steep driveway and the parking underneath, my buddies lived one house closer to Gorman. We had some good times there, though, they trashed the place. Never had any real problems, other than I got a drinking ticket there. That house has more of my vomit in it then anywhere else on teh planet.
