It's based on the novel, which is one of my favorite novels of all time. It's leaked on the internet already, and I've got 5 minutes left on my torrent. If you ever heard Nirvana's "Scentless Apprentice", that song is a better blurb of the story than imdb's.

i saw the trailer for this a few weeks ago, maybe before The Fountain... hadn't heard of it or the book. sounded awful until the murderer stuff then i just got totally confused. might check it out though.

i saw it when i was still in europe. i really liked it, but theres nothing else i can really comment on without ruining the movie. go watch it though, its worth it.

girlfriend and i saw it tonight and we both enjoyed it, but i guess not everyone did. what appeared to be adults were very immature at the end of the movie.

oh and the book is quite different then the movie, reading it now. The guy tends to ramble but it's still a good read. Can't wait to see this again or own it. It had a weird fairytale feel too it, all the while you're pulling for a murderer. Great stuff.
