While they're on the field, let me relate one classy thing about the Notre Dame band. I went to see my other team Purdue play Notre Dame at home a couple years ago. After playing their fight song, Notre Dame "to honor their opponent Purdue" played the Purdue fight song. I know they didn't do this against us at the Gator Bowl and they didn't do it tonight for LSU, it might be something they do for us since we're a rival.

They then kicked our tails 49-28.

That's the only time I've ever saw it, and I've been to games at NC State, Purdue, East Carolina, Maryland, and Wake Forest.

And as it was a home game for Purdue, Notre Dame was doing it as the away visiting band.

Oh well, I thought then, wow, that's nice of them. Maybe I was giving them too much credit.

Fully expecting LSU to win, but phishnlou I wouldn't mind the Irish winning. I want y'all to be the great almighty awesome #1 football power at some point when you're upset by the Boilers in West Lafayette.

Hmmm, well I thought everyone did it, never really paid attention to State's halftime shows though so I dont know about them, but I know Tennessee, Vandy, Bama do it, and Florida did it the two times I went down there (when the other teams band either didnt make the trip or didnt actually play at halftime)
