I keep getting an error popup that "There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network" but my internet works just fine and so does my roommates. I have reset the modem and both of our computers and all that but am too lazy to deal with ISP customer service. Any suggestions?

How are you connecting to the internet? Are you using a router or NAT?

For that matter, do you or your roommate have your IP addresses hard-coded in your network connection settings?

Router. I don't because it was at one point and I had to turn it off to get back on the internet. Actually it seems to have stopped on its own.
