google turned up a couple that were ok, but i can't really tell if they're accurate with state tax included

anyone know of a good online utility that i can input a gross salary annual/bi-weekly along with my state tax rate and it will tell me my net income per paycheck overall?

thx

this is as close as ive come and it requires you to basically walk it up or down to the amount based on what you think your net will be

I used this one for a while and it was actually underestimating my checks by a few pennies.

you really need a special program to do this?

considering that i dont feel like looking up all the new exemptions and dont particularly feel like doing math, yes, i need a special calc to do this...

^^that's for arizona, which is why it would underestimate your check

I made an Excel spreadsheet not long ago which did this. I was able to factor in additional deductions from my paycheck and arrive at a pretty good estimate of what my paycheck would be. I would recommend you do the same, Google can turn up federal/state taxes rates pretty easy (even if you don't want something THAT complex, spreadsheet only takes 5 min to do).

We're paid through ADP's iPay, and it includes a calculator so you can see what your pay will be, net of all deductions. Pretty useful for seeing the impact of throwing another couple % into the 401k , or of this year's increases in medical premiums
