Belt Drives are supposed to have a more natural sound because the belt dampens the vibration from the motor. If you're belt drive is decent you can probably pick up a replacement belt on eBay for less than $10 after shipping. That's what I did for my Yamaha turnatable. I've got a spare Marantz, but it's tucked away for future use if this Yamaha ever croaks. 1/6/2007 3:59:33 AM |

dont need anything special at all.
