My DVD player won't play a burned DVD but the DVD plays perfectly on my laptop. If I go buy a new DVD player will it play burned DVDs?

What format is your DVD? (ie DVD-R, DVD+R etc)

try some -r disks...those are more compatible(from what i was told only by about 10 percent)

also there is firmware you can get that lets you change the booktype to dvd-rom which plays in like anything

what? and how would you recommend a firmware upgrade when you have no idea what kind of dvd burner he has

dont matter what kind of dvd player he has fucktard, there is firmware for all that shit out there

anyways, like i said to original poster...try some -r disks, they are more compatible

it's not firmware, it's just a program that changes the booktype
