This is something I'm curious about and I'm hoping you old TWWers who were here before myspace and facebook became popular can answer it. Since myspace and facebook became popular and people started using them to waste time on the Internet, are fewer people joining TWW? And are the people who are joining posting less, or do people still spend all day and all night here like they used to?

^ Hey thanks for the info. Now I have to ask since not everyone who registers actually posts, does the number of new people who actually post seem to have changed?

By the way, what happened on that day in 04 when there was a huge spike in the number of people signing up? I graduated in 03, so I wasn't on campus for it.

I think it is better to look at page views than just new users.

ratio wise, the rate of new members have dropped some, but tww has picked up some that would not have known about it except for other websites....
