I know that there is a thread for google inovations but this is just specific to google domains. I'm thinking of using it for hosting purposes solely not all the extras that come with it. I know they have a pretty good WYSIWYG editor online for the pages but does anyone know if you can upload pages directly? (I <3 notepad..)

Anyway just looking for some opinions on the service (free)

yeah i use it for gmail and calendar and gtalk

i disabled the start pages and this web publishing thing because i'd never use them

Can you upload documents for people to download? I'm guessing if they have to allow you to upload pictures for your website and then probably let small files also. You know if you could upload small documents(excel files/docs) etc for download?

Yes, I use it for mail and calendaring. I haven't messed with the homepage / publishing feature.
