How about Rivers vs Brady in the aspect that everyone has shitted all over PR for getting the Pro Bowl nod rather than Brady. This is Rivers' chance to prove he is worthy of the selection over the amazing Tom Brady.

Wait, is this supposed to be the game thread?

Or just some kind of comparison?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Brady will be in Disneyworld while Rivers is in Hawaii. He'd want it no other way.

^^ you've seriously never heard the "san diego superchargers" song???

eh... i don't know about that. philip's always been the good kid. never curses. never drinks. goes to bed early. nevery partied. married his middle school sweetheart. all that nice stuff. i bet he's never even been in a fight in his life. not even with his brother, who's like 8 years younger.

brady, on the other hand, looks like he's always been the popular jock. him and his buddies probably were the hot shit in high school, and pushed around the scrubs.

^^They're nearly the same size (Rivers: 6'5" 228, Brady: 6'4" 225) but I think if it came down to it, Rivers would take Brady out, maybe for the reasons you just highlighted, as real gangsta ass niggas don't flex nuts, cuz real gangsta ass niggas know they got 'em

I hope the chargers win. Mainly because it tangentially gives NC State publicity.

If Rivers becomes one of the elite NFL QBs, maybe we can enjoy the Jordan effect, and one day go to any random place and see people wearing NC State gear.

^^^^^ I know Rivers is a good kid, but I hope you don't think he was some kind of nerd in high school and is representing nerds everywhere today. He was probably a popular jock too.

^^^^ I remember that, it was when he was trying to throw the ball away and it looked like he was out of the pocket and he threw it like 30 yards, and they called intentional grounding. He went over the refs and was like "say what homes?"

why the hell would he give up his pro-bowl spot?

[Edited on January 14, 2007 at 9:01 PM. Reason : If anyone should it should be Palmer, he didn't even make the playoffs.]
