My Protege was jolting time to time when I was above 50 mph, and then the check engine light came on. It went off for about a week, but then it happened again the next weekend. I brought it in, and the diagnostic said I had a cylinder misfire. I had changed the spark plugs 6000 miles ago. Technician said he would change the ignition wires (he ended up putting new spark plugs in as well)
I drove 450 miles back to state last monday, and just yesterday the problem happened again. What could be the problem now? My dad suggested buying a product called Dry Gas because I may have water in my tank? 1/14/2007 1:43:06 PM |
