I'm looking to buy one of those little portable dvd players but I'm not sure which one to get. Has anyone bought one that they really like/hate? Any advice on specs to get?

Oh yeah - price range: less than 100 dollars (much less would be awesome) and I'd like it to play regular-sized DVDs (def burned ones too)

i have a polaroid with 7inch LCD that I got from Sam's for $99. I did a bit of searching beforehand and this was the best deal I found regularly priced. I am sure you can occasionally find a super sale on one for cheaper.

Biggest thing for me was battery life. I wanted to be able to use it on a plane so I needed decent battery life. Alot of the ones I saw (especially the ones with larger displays) have like 2 hr battery life which is barely enough for a full length movie.

I got a philips 10.5" (i think) that plays DVDs, VCDs, DiVX/XViD, and 6 hour battery life. But it was $150
