That's not even 10%.
So why should anyone buy through you if they can get it cheaper themselves? 1/16/2007 4:42:03 PM |
Packman79 Veteran 306 Posts user info edit post |
What do you mean that is not even 10% of course it is...
Forgetting Tax?
I took 15% off the TOTAL... the TOTAL being what it would cost someone to go in and buy it themselves. If you have some other way of getting 10% then you will save even more.
example 1: $3000 TV plus tax = $3210 In this situation I would pay the $3210 but only charge you $2725 That saves you $3210 - $2725 = $485 (15% savings)
example 2: $3000 TV minus 10% promo that you have plus tax = $2889 (Your cost after 10% off) In this situation I would pay the $2889 but only charge you $2450 That saves you $2889 - $2450 = $439 (15% savings)
Any more questions? 1/16/2007 7:26:48 PM |

if i remember correctly he needs cash, so he's using a sears credit card for quick cash and then using rewards or something plus paying off the balance later. seems like a good deal if you are looking for a big ticket item 1/16/2007 7:43:02 PM |

You still going to be doing this in a few months? I'm going to be purchasing a big plasma or LCD within 6 months, most likely. 1/16/2007 8:52:08 PM |

your going to have to list more details to be taken seriously on this.
i just bought 2 Samsung 40" LCD's for 1399 each at Circuit City. Both were the middle model 4051. For example you can pick up the 40" Samsung 4041 for $1199 there, where the 40" Samsung 4095 is $2069
another issue would be warranty but good luck 1/18/2007 1:15:00 PM |

he does this all the time and everytime people want to find out he is making money or abusing some employee discount, for the record:
He isn't making a profit or breaking the law in any way
He is just getting some quick cash now and paying off the debt later, essentially with interest (the interest he pays for the loan is the discount you get at time of purchase). Does everyone understand?
free bttt, sorry for the rant it's just starting to get a little monotonous...good luck to you 1/22/2007 6:51:59 PM |

Packman79, you need to link the other threads to show your credibility just for people who haven't read them or people who are new. 1/23/2007 1:57:48 AM |
