I already have a fluid mechanics I used in MAE 308 but now I need another one for MAE 412. Does anyone have this book that they would let me buy? Shoot I could rent it from you, I already have a fluids book. Let me know.

^ no it's not. some people used the Cengel book in fluids and were able to use it in 412 from permission of the instructor. the dept has switched back to the White fluids book for both 308 and 412.

I don't know when the switch occurred but I think it's pretty ridiculous that I should have to buy ANOTHER fluids book when I already have one. Whatever though.

i believe the switch technically took place last semester (Fall '06) but 412 teachers allowed the use of the Cengel book. i had Terry and he allowed it because almost half the class had it; however, i remember him saying that in the future, he would only work out of the White book.
