I searched google and the ms help, but whenever I click on a hyperlink in Office 2003 it gives me this message: "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator" I am running XP home SP2 and have the newest edition of IE. If I open the same document with Open office, it works. Please help me, TIA

Would it hurt just to keep using Open office? It really is just as good a program as MS office. Anyways, the situation described, I don't understand. Something funny with either MS office or windows.

i tried both of those, but I dont have htmlfile in my registry using the first fix, resetting webpages in IE didnt work, and i dont have internet explorer under the second fix
