***Official Tdub news report***

Just drove on 440 from state. Saw 5 accidents and about the same number of tire marks going off road. When I was on tryon road, saw a car off the side of the road but the side of the road is a steep drop off of about 15 ft and lots of trees. I was wondering why the cops were there for... News channel 11 on the scene next to the off ramp of 440 and wade avenue 30 mins ago.

its funny cause on one stretch of 440 near the harrison avenue exit, there was 3 accidents within 100 yards of each other. lots of blue light specials.

there was a transam that went head first through the guard rail. The whole front end went right under it and sticking out on the otherside of the highway. A van full of mexicans might be for blame in that accident...

In Kannapolis there was a schoolbus hooked up at the rear to a yellow tow truck with a cop just arriving on the scene as I passed. Big tree limb down beside it. The weather conditions here are barely worth mentioning; the bus driver had to have been driving like an asshat to pull that off.

it was in early 90's... im talking enough snow to make my own sleigh path. not sure how much, but it was a lot.

i guess second would be 5-6 years ago when it snowed a lot.

Remember that big snowstorm about 5 years ago ('02-'03 I think, I was a sophomore) that closed down campus for a few days? I had to drive to the airport to pick my roommate up because the guys who were supposed to pick him up forgot and got drunk (or got drunk and forgot ). I just remember a whole crapload of soccer moms in SUV's spinning off the road while my old Civic LX kept on goin. FWD with narrow tires and low center of gravity FTW

The ultimate irony-
Driving my e30 track car going 30mph in a 45 due to an inch of snow. All the while rocking my 'Quattro ist fur sissies' sticker. One day a year- the tables turn

^^ Hmm, mighta been primarily ice, but the time I'm thinking the whole interstate was pretty snow covered. Only 1 lane of travel on 40 and such.
