Is there any hope? Can Cabrera finally get his head right and pitch a 15+ win season? Will Jay Gibbons finally have the 35HR season that everyone has been expecting since 1999?

I'm thinking that we have a shot if the team can work together. Tejada has said he is now "happy" again, which I guess is good. Mora is still there and B-Rob should bounce back from his injury laden 2006.

^3 they have a lot of support in Baltimore and Camden Yards is a pretty new stadium 1991 i think. so they wont move the birds. but i do agree that either Raleigh or Charlotte needs a team.

no way. baltimore tries to love the orioles so god damn much but the owner just cant help but drive the franchise into the ground. theres only so much support you can give an owner before its time for a change.

wolfpack fans thought they had it bad when their basketball team made it to the ncaa tournament 5 years in a row....how do you think baltimore feels when their pride and joy has had a sub .500 record for the past 10 years?

ps. now that washington has a team, they should bring back "baltimore" on the uniforms.

Benson is out for the year with a torn rotator cuff.

So basically the Mets completely won that trade. In essence they got El Duque (#3 starter) and Maine (backend starter) for Benson.. lollers.

I'm an Orioles fan too, but other than hoping to see a surprise turn around performance from Aubrey Huff and watch Markakis continue to break out, I have no real expectations for this team.

i live about 10 minutes outside baltimore, and we get both masn stations.. they're both horrible.. blurry pictures, terrible audio, no radar on the pitcher, almost no score updates.. no hd in sight

i guess they are showing every game, so i'm gonna have to get used to it
