most of them need some restoration, almost all need new paint
a lot of the ones that get posted on craigslist seem to be there because (or so the owner claims) they bought it to restore and never had the time. then they either needed the space or got tired of looking at it. or the guy is moving and cant take it with. these tend to go much cheaper than from a classic car dealer, but will also likely require more work and you have to wait on them to come up.
