the ones that you insert between coils on your springs for added height (and stiffness??) --> do they work? do they work well? do they mess up alignments/springs/etc?

I'm tuckin' my rear wheels a little too hard and would like some clearance without changing out any springs.

THANKS!

they will work as long as you add 2 to each spring and mount them opposite of each other. however, i believe in your case you'll end up busting them.

I've heard they're dangerous...you flex your suspension and they're likely to fall out.

They can work, but you'll need an alignment. And yeah the taller they are the more dangerous. I will tell you my ball joints got all fucked up since there was almost no room to extend and on a down stroke the wheel assembly would bottom out even on normal roads, but thats for my truck.

^Thats not what the original post was about. Hes talking about rubber inserts that go in the coils of the springs. Nascar uses them for mid race spring rate adjustments.
