I hope the Saints win because Reggie Bush is one of my favorite players.

I hope the Patriots win because I like Tom Brady and think it's hilarious how Peyton Manning could a) never beat Florida; and b) never win the AFC.

How's that for some analysis?

I hope the Saints win because I like Drew Brees and I don't like the Bears

I hope the Colts win because I'm sick of the Patriots, like everyone else in America.

I think Indy gets it done today.

1) The Colts have a weak run defense but I dont think the Pats can really exploit that because Corey Dillon runs a 5.0 sec 40 yard dash. Is Maroney still on the team? I havent seen him since September.

2) The Colts defend the pass pretty well and rush the passer very well. Brady doesnt seem to be in much of a rhythm with his weak WR corps.

3) The Colts are just sick on third downs. One of the best teams in NFL history on third downs. They put together LONG drives and they should be able to wear the Pats defense down a little.

4) The Colts aren't a particularly strong rushing team, but they can run pretty effectively on their side of the field because the safeties are forced to play so deep to defend the long passing plays. This keeps them from stalling out in their own territory and will make the Pats without field position for much of the day.

5) Bob Sanders. All the difference in the world for this team. He stops the run and he defends the underneath routes almost to perfection. He gave the Pats a lot of trouble earlier this season.

6) Homefield advantage. The Colts are a much different team on the fast turf than the Patriots are used to.

I just think the Pats are really mismatched out there. I don't expect a great game from Peyton Manning. I think they can get it done if he gives them a 240 yard, ~56-58% completion with 1 turnover game...

The saints need to win it all. Fuck manning, fuck brady, fuck the bears for thinking their crappy ass QB can take them anywhere.

Bears and Colts, setting up some kind of Northern Indiana Derby Bowl.

I hope the bears win because everyone has doubted their offense all year and doesnt think they can get it done, not to mention its snowing in Chicago and butt cold.

I hope manning wins because I hate Brady and think that Manning needs some credit to this name, no more Marino comparisons.

Bears / Saints

1) I love Reggie Bush but today is not his day. His speed will be neutralized by the speed of the Bears defense. His agility will be compromised by the poor weather.

2) The Bears offense is underrated. They were tied with the Colts for 2nd in points per game. I know that much of this is a result of their defense, but it's a mistake to pretend the Bears offense is AWFUL.

3) The Rex Grossman factor is overrated. They have won a shitload of games the past two seasons between Grossman & Orton. Grossman can make enough plays for the Bears to win he just needs to limit his mistakes.

4) The Saints defense had 11 INT's and 12 FF's this year. The Bears had 24 INT's and 23 FF's this year. That's an ENORMOUS disparity.

5) Homefield advantage & weather. Huge edge for the Bears today.

6) Devin Hester. He can have an enormous impact on field position even if he doesnt break one off which should be important today. We already saw the Seahawks kick away from him for most of the game...

despite 3 fumbles (2 recovered by the Bears in excellent field position) only 2 FGs to show .. Grossman factor is definately a factor.

The Saints haven't done much of anything offensively. I think if Da Bears hit double digits that's enough to win.

That wasn't like a great play or anything by Bush but god damn is he fast.. It was like the Bears D was running in slow-motion.. and that defense is hard to do that to...

Obscure? That's a well known rule that makes perfect sense.

If Grossman didn't suck the Bears would be up by about 3 TD's right now.

I meant obscure as in rarely seen.

I know it makes sense, just saying I have only seen it maybe 1 other time.
