the machine did not come with either service pack, so I think a copy of the install with either will work fine.

if you still have windows running I'd suggest taking your C:\I386 and making a cd yourself if nobody gives you a cd.

Home serials don't work on Pro, tried
Talk to any CSC major. If they're taking a CSC class they get the MSDN freebie copy.
Or some freshman taking java, that works too.
