we can't defend the 3-pt line to save our life, UVA hit 11 (granted it was against Wake) in their last game. J.R. Reynolds dropped in 6 of those on his way to 40 pts in the game. We don't have a pt-g (and even if atsur comes back he won't be back in form for a few games). If something really good doesn't happen, I'm just going to be drinking myself silly in a couple of days, just like I did on sat. and, . . . . well I guess you get the point

question, cause im not sure if its been brought up elsewhere...but could Atsur redshirt and play next year(medical) since he pretty much hasnt played at all this year?

not sure if i would want him back since he is a Herb recruit, but he is i guess a pt guard and has the experience...

i ask this because i have no idea when he is coming back

yes he could, he hasn't played enough games for it to be considered a season, however he won't because he's getting a degree this year, and we will have marques johnson (spelling?) next year. that transfer from tennessee

I think he could be a good asset even next year with our recruits coming in but i dont think we would have enough scholarships for him to return anways

lowe is optimistic about atsur returning for the game wednesday. He practiced sunday and had a good workout today without any soreness.

atsur has already said he will not redshirt and that he is looking forwarding to playing overseas.

yea and i saw michigan played purdue twice in one week, i think first 2 out of 3 big ten games were against purdue as the big ten play opened up... but my point being... i dont agree with that scheduling, you should spread it out more

even back in the BC game, granted he didn't score a point, but he had 10 assists. That really is what we need to do, hang on to the ball and run the offense

i know lowe is giving everyone freedom on offense....but it seems like if someone even so much as gets an open look at the basket for 1 second, even 20 feet away with a guy in his face and no one to rebound, we jack it up anyways.

i dont think we have a clue on offense.

and our defense sucks too.



PS: for the record, last night at the chili peppers concert was the loudest ive heard the RBC center in a looong time....and 1/4 of the stadium was closed off. (just crowd noise during Encore)

Reynolds and Singletary both were very off in our last meeting and really did not light up until near the end when they barely put us away. How well we can defend them and the three will determine who comes out on top, I think this game could really go either way but I would not be surprised with either a close win or close loss.

i love the 9pm start, especially with no class until 1:30 on thursday. 7:00 starts are just a pain in the ass, not enough time to get shitfaced for. 9pm is a different story.

Not on TV here but I don't think I'll want to watch it anyway. UVa will surely press us this game after seeing what teams with athletic backcourts have been able to do against us since the first game in Charlottesville.

I'd be shocked if Singletary and Reynolds were as ice cold as the first meeting. Not looking forward to seeing the score when I get home from work unfortunately
