Cif doesn't use itunes because it doesn't work with his ridiculously complicated system of categorizing music. 1/24/2007 12:03:33 AM |

I have the album. Its decent. I'll definitely give it a few more rounds of play. I like the fact that Jarvis Cocker (I think) does vocals on "One Hell of a Party" 1/24/2007 9:02:35 PM |

just listened to it for the first time. its pretty decent, but very mellow (even more then air usually). i was a little dissappointed that it wasnt as electronic as they usually are....its much more acoustic then anything ive heard from them. 1/25/2007 9:53:28 AM |

Being a huge Air fan, this album is pretty decent. Not great by any means.....actually, kind of a let down from Talkie Walkie. It's on par with maybe 10khz legend...
Problem is that it is SO minimalist...even for them. 1/26/2007 12:50:11 PM |

i think he is referring to how critics rated 10khz legend poorly. ive never heard 10khz myself but my favorite of theirs is the ep premieres symptomes (sp?)

after some more listens at work I'm starting to like it more. It sort of grows on you.
The problem is that it is SO ambient and spacey. Usually Air has a good bit of upbeat and sweeping sounds with strings and stuff....but there's alot of Japanese strings/plucked instruments and soundscapes in this one. 1/27/2007 9:46:36 AM |

which is exactly the reason I don't like iTunes... I do have to use it on my laptop though just because it won't run winamp 1/27/2007 12:11:52 PM |
