Does anyone have experience with such things? I might be interested in selling a few pieces that have been apraised for insurance purposes but not for selling. They have been in my family since around the 1800's...I had a few pieces appraised at JM Edwards in Cary but i don't think they deal with this kind of jewelry as far as sales go.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or know someone who can?

if theyve been in your family that long you should just keep them

well thats what i said...but the person that gave them to me wants me to sell them and invest the money or do something with the money like pay off my house....she said that only one of the pieces really has any sentimental value to her and that i can keep if i want.
