For any and all who need a FT job, let me know. I'm a soon to be departmental head, and am looking to add at least one, if not two employees to help with sales development. Guaranteed good experience, and a fun job to boot. Our company was voted as one of the best places to work in the triangle, and top software company. Located in Cary, next to Crossroads, Allscripts formally A4 Health Systems, has good pay, competitive commission/comp plans, benefits, and all that gravy. Even if you aren't interested in a marketing/sales career, we are looking to fill another dozen jobs or so as we continue to expand. Why not be a leader with an industry leading company. Feel free to send me your resume (alfreibe@ncsul.edu), ask questions, or visit our website: http://www.allscripts.com for more information. If you are graduating in May, keep us in mind. 1/24/2007 11:35:51 AM |

Information Technology is one of the factors that has been said to make or break health organizations these days. (No I don't have a link for it off the top of my head, sorry). Being involved with a company who is involved in medical software is a good and promising way to begin a career. Business is booming right now for them. 1/24/2007 8:33:00 PM |

all of the medical software companies are hiring too, so if you need a job, look at them. they've got positions for technical and non-technical. i applied to 2 and now work at 1. all are EXCELLENT companies to work for from what i've seen. 1/24/2007 8:54:09 PM |

I'm just so sick of seeing so much sales crap ... I mean, come on, some of them have like ungodly turnover, but they'd never admit it. I'd rather be unemployed than go into sales. Unless I'm personally totally sold on whatever-it-is, I can't sell it. I'd be like Santa in Miracle on 34th Street tellin errbody where they can get it better/faster/cheaper. Nope, don't know a single thing about this one, but I have my opinions on the sales career path.

info tech is big with health care right now as more and more hospitals convert to paperless records systems to cut down on errors (and therefore malpractice suits). I know Rex is almost done converting all of their records to digital.
There's tons of opportunity. 1/25/2007 12:03:34 AM |

Thanks, I feel about the same way. BUT, there are people out there for which sales is natural and extraordinarily easy. Welcome to job diversity and working on a multi-disciplinary team. (I remember an instructor once said sales absolutely drains an introverts energy ... they can do it, but its 3x harder for them than it is for an extrovert).
Anyways, Blitza, what other opportunities exist in the "dozen jobs or so"?1/25/2007 4:44:02 AM |
