i'd say that last link you posted is the reason the drive like that. or maybe it's common practice over there for anyone overtaking traffic, i dunno. i know in rural mexico people will pass eachother in the median, shoulder, through a field, whatever. alot of the carribean islands also. it's hilarious.

This has some similarity to driving in just about any 3rd world country (minus the IEDs). If you can reach the pedals, you can drive and Darwinism takes care of the rest. Maybe not to the extreme you saw in the Iraq video, but traffic rules are a lot different depending on where you go.

I'd leave them with a mangled H1 or mangled face depending on which heap I'm driving at the time. I've always wanted to try that "pit" maneuver that they show on World's Scariest Police Chases.

I don't see anything wrong in the video. The drivers there know that they are supposed to move for US forces. Some of them just need to be notified that they're behind them. I wouldn't expect them to risk getting their head shot off just to be polite. It's not going to do any damage to those vehicles anyway.
