I have a 1995 GMC Yukon and the ABS light comes on now and my breaks or anti lock breaks come on sometimes when i am stopping. Is this something I can have fixed for pretty cheap if it is a sensor or is more of a major issue I have to deal with? 1/29/2007 2:30:40 PM |

unplug the abs module and drive it without abs, its not worth fixing, you're talking about a lot of money for an old vehicle 1/29/2007 3:37:41 PM |

check the sensors first. ground wire could be corroded or something easy. otherwise pull the bulb out of the cluster and don't worry about it.

95% of 92-96's i have seen is the kelsey-hayes abs module, costs about a grand and isnt worth replacing, but unplug it, because it can be dangerous if not, it will engage the abs in normal conditions and lead to a loss of control 1/29/2007 3:48:30 PM |
