I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I am in reverse and turn the wheel to the right there is an AWFUL grinding noise. I do not know alot about cars, but it seems to me that it is the CV Joint. Am I right.
Antone with any advice on what it is and a simple cheap way to fix it? Thanks 1/30/2007 1:26:16 AM |

Not sure if it's the CV joint or not, but if it is, get that thing replaced PRONTO. Look and see if grease is leaking from the CV joint. 1/30/2007 2:07:55 AM |

if it's got it, something with the center diff. in the full time t-case i'd guess off hand. hard to diagnose noises over the internet though. could be a cv joint on a front axle shaft too, but it'd likely be making a noise in either direction. 1/30/2007 2:36:12 AM |
