red tom is such an underrated hire (except in this article, obviously). a lot of people in the ACC are going to be real surprised, i think.

I notice there is no talk of Amato going back to FSU in this article.

I guess his new title of "executive head coach" isnt worth including him in the field as long as Bobby "The figurehead" Bowden is still "Head Coach"....

I can't stand that we don't fill up the RBC and have the balls to call out UNC for not supporting their football program. It's sickening. Everyone claimed it was because the old coach 'turned them off to the program' and that it would change once we got a 'real coach.' They sure proved it!

If I was in Raleigh I'd be at every game I coudl get to, I know that..

V I'm more speaking about alums than students. Student attendance has been downright pitiful since I started school in '99 for non-marquee games at RBC..

^, ^^ I've been on the waiting list for every game since BC (same with Bama and Michigan). Quite frustrating. Only games I've seen were at the beginning (Red & White, Northern State, Wofford)

After all of the talk from people on various forums promising to buy season tickets with a new coach, it seems like the attendance is even worse. I look down from section 318 and see rows and rows of empty lower level courtside seats and it's fucking pathetic.

it doesn't help that the only way to buy acc tickets is to buy them 4 at a time

i'd guess that a lot of those empty seats are b/c people had to buy 4 tickets when they knew they could only make one or two of those games.
