I've seen passes with more zip in children's rec league basketball. Lowe should give him the red light on dribbling. Rebounds, defense, open shots, and fast breaks should be his focus until he learns how to dribble.

I guess that reverse windmill or windmill reverse(whatever the fuck it's called) is going to be his signature dunk.

With the 8 turnovers today he broke 100 for the year. Tied for first in the ACC with 102. But he did have a sweet dunk.

Kid is athletic that's for sure, he's just NOT a ball handler.

Not only did he have 8 turnovers of his own, but he also indirectly caused about 4 others. It was so damn infuriating to see him pickup his dribble 30 feet from the basket and then throw a lazy ass pass.

shut the hell up. gavin grant is a big fuckin piece to this team. his game may be ugly but he's bein forced to play completely out of position. the dude has heart and will do anything to win.

^I agree.

His few mistakes are so ridiculously ugly that they overshadow the contributions he makes to the team.

including give the ball to the other team. He needs to look at atsur - atsur doesn't really have amazing skills, he just dribbles safely, ass forward, and throws strong passes.

We're not asking him to go iverson, we're just asking him to not turn it over.

haha, ask him not to turn it over. It's not like the dude goes out there and hands the ball over on purpose. Gavin gives 110% and sometimes it results in a TO. He wants to fucking win. Take him out of the lineup and you have a fucking disaster.

here's to you gavin grant... fuck the haters

It sure looks like he does. And we did take him out when he was fucking up to calm his ass down. And we were losing when he was the primary ball handler. Thank god atsur is back.

No one is saying bench him with fergie -- we are saying he has serious probelms that greatly diminish his value as a player, and he needs to work on that more than anything else.

my concerns is who takes over PG duty next year when atsur's gone. i sure don't want Grant on the bench but he shouldn't be taking the ball up the floor

haha, this guy. does he really think he can make the pros at this point?

^^how did i miss the most important part? i posted the part about the imigration hearing, but i was pointing out that he thinks he might be good enough to leave after his junior year.

The biggest factor will be the immigration hearing. Do you expect him to say "I may not be ready for the pros, but if I'm SOL due to immigration status I'll do my best."?

I think what it's saying is that if his hearing doesn't say otherwise, he will be here for his senior year.

Horner is not that bad, he plays good defense (I think a couple of blocks tonight) and is very consistent with his 3-pt shot. Getting back on subject, how about that time nieman turned it over and immediately drew the charge to get it back.......and then Grant did something retarded and wasted it....

How about the time Horner fouled out with 2 points, 0 rebounds, and 0 assists?
