First test is on Wednesday...what's everyone doing to prepare?

I was just planning on looking over the practice test and making an insane amount of notecards

i pulled the same shit...the MC and 5 boxes at the end were fairly easy...but 3 of the 4 discussion questions i was straight fucked on. i hate no matter how much you study, he asks the most random minute details...

^^haha i have about the same grades and got like 3s and 4s on the extra credit (i think i got a 1 on this last one lol). it's so easy. just read over the handouts and look in the book at stuff you don't understand. that's all you need to do to get a good grade.

i started off dominating the class, but have gotten worse as the semester has gone on.

i got:

32 + 8
27 + 6
22 + 3

98/120 =

I do well on the short problems and multiple choice, but i feel like he asks essays on shit he barely even touches in class.

For the fellas doing well on all three tests, are you just memmorizing the shit out of everything or how are you preparing for the essays? Fucking up on 3 out of 5 instantly destroys my test average.

yes - it's 80 MC questions equally weighted across all of the material

in the review session, he said "try to understand how the processes verk". if you understand how they verk, you will do vell on the test.

i only needed 62 to keep an A+.

from what i'm told, parks is more prone to letting you know what will be on the exam. anholt does give an old exam to get ideas from, but his format changes every semester (all essay, all multiple choice, mixture).

if you study, you'll do well. but i honestly worked hard for what i got. none of the "night before cramming sessions."
