Make sure you have a dual layer burner first.

there is a small strip of information on each dvd r. one of my drives came with software to delete that info and open up a little more space, so if you dont have a dual layer writer you could try that (though its not THAT much space)

Start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dual_layer#Dual_layer_recording. DVDs with 4.7gb normally run $0.25/disc. DVDs with 8.5gb normally run $1-$2/disc.

go to bestbuy, go to where they have burnable media, (usually near the comput4rz), select a spindle of DL DVD-R's of your choice, pay the cashier money, go home and burn

i got mine on special from newegg a while back, bought a shit ton of them. Just wait for a weekend deal if you want to drop below a buck a disc.

Otherwise I buy everything from meritline.com. They sell Ritek DVD+DL for $1.30-$1.40 a disc. GREAT place to buy media from, they sell damn near everything and pretty much only quality discs.

Ah, you shouldn't shop at bestbuy. They're in business to rip your wallet a new one.
