Downloading the trial right now (you get one trial key to give to a friend when you buy the game).

It's taking 14 hours to download everything (5 gigs i think).

well this game is supposed to be good according to old school mmorpgers. WoW never had a pvp component that was even worth checking out in my opinion, so hopefully this will be fun.

wow's combat system is better than any other mmorpg, ever. it's the only thing that got me to into a pay to play game for more than a week.

i was really excited about this

but the lack of post-release buzz and the lackluster reviews are making me question

I havent seen any credible websites with reviews for this game yet. Most places are taking their time to play through it before reviewing it.

game reviews are about as useful as used toilet paper.

everybody who's opinion i value has liked it except for the bugs (they released the game even though it's still beta quality) and high system reqs (if you dont have a top notch system, you may not even be able to play because it drinks resources like mr T drinks milk)

pvp combat? eh not really. pve combat? same old thing as every other mmo. they copy each other heavily. the things that make WOW accessible have nothing to do with the combat system really.

I play a melee class generally and most of the games I've played have poorly converted the roll system to fluid combat until I got to wow. Caster combat is almost the same in every game.

WoW has balanced classes, something entirely lacking in other games
