^ "Never Leave" is hilarious. I was a little weary about the split with 9th, but leave it to Phonte to completely disarm me by being hilarious.

All I've heard is that it'll be available on http://www.mickboogie.com/

Little Brother and HOJ are the shit! Too bad they don't get the home state love they deserve. Fuck corporate radio!

from what i read, no bad blood

phonte and pooh needed to break out from the shadow of 9th's beats (also the monotony)

9th's business is beats, and he can't be as efficient when some of his good ones have to go to LB (even though they're deserving of them) but the market dictates that people will pay for the snare

people just gotta do what they gotta do

9th is venturing out into other things too. He's teaching a hip hop course at Central and touring nationwide with the True School corps. There was no bad blood.

strong effort

i can honestly say i like phonte and pooh more over a variety of producers than i do over majority 9th beats

he should show up as a guest producer on a couple tracks and i'd be happy

I'm still giving the mixtape some spins. I like most of it, but I'm not in love with it yet.

Is this the same reason Nicolay wasn't involved?

BTW, does anyone know if O-Dash has released anything on his own?
